One of the features at the new Central Library is a large exhibit space that can be viewed from outside and from inside the North Carolina Room. The current exhibit was placed in the library by the Alumni Association of the Methodist Children’s Home.
Children worked, played, studied, and lived together at the Children’s Home. The exhibit features photographs, memorabilia, and artifacts, along with pertinent information, that help tell the story of the Children’s Home and of the children who lived there over the years.
See this informative exhibit on the second floor of the Central Library through the end of December.
