Eliza Wilhelmina Vierling Kremer was born on this day in 1811, in Salem. She was the daughter of Dr. Samuel and Martha Miksch Vierling.
She married Charles Kremer, who was a saddler. They built a brick home on Church Street, just two houses away from her parents’ home.
Her husband died in 1851, leaving her a widow with several young children.
She taught at the Salem Boys School and at her private school for several years.
She passed away in 1899.
