Looking for someone who might recognize South Park School. The photo shown above was identified as South Park School, but it doesn’t look like an older view of the school (1920s version).
Of course, it could have been remodeled, or completely rebuilt, or this view could be the back of the school. This image was probably taken from the 1950s to the mid-1970s.
Can anyone verify that this image is South Park School?
Thank you for your help!

Doesn’t look like the South Park I went to.
I went there from 1960-1965, did not look like that then
Not South Park.. it was much closer to the street not a big yard like that. and was designed much like Griffith, Clemmons, Old Town.. that generation of Northrup buildings
This reminds me of some of the buildings on the Children’s Home campus…
Looks more like the Casstevens Hospital on Stratford Road.
I entered South Park in the first grade in 1947…shortly after WW2. My family lived immediately across the street (South Main Street) in a large apartment complex called Sunnyside Homes. Sunnyside was thrown up immediately after the war to house returning vets. This photo is definitely not South Park, I was at South Park from my first grade until half way thru the sixth grade when my family moved away and I then went to Griffith school of the south side if Winston Salem. Every kid deserves a school a good as South Park!
