Irvin Sylvester Disher was born on this day in 1895, in Forsyth County, to James Theodore and Seba Estella McLain Disher.
He was connected with Reynolda Florists for 49 years and retired in 1960.
He is also known for planting the magnolia trees on the Reynolda Estate, and is shown in the photo above in 1951.
Irvin was married first to Pearl Bell Ellis and second to Mary Mozelle Joyner.
He passed away in 1961.
