On this day in 1943, the new miniature golf course opened at Reynolds Park. The course was located next to the kiddies playground, right beside the swimming pool.
The above photograph, dated 1955, shows the amusement area at Reynolds Park. Shown here are the carousel, Ferris wheel, and miniature train.
