Wayback Wednesday: Easter Greetings!

This Easter postcard was mailed on April 19th, 1908, from Baltimore to Winston-Salem. The message on the front of the postcard is “A Bright and Happy Easter.”

The message on the back of the postcard is brief, “Easter greetings from xxxxxx (unreadable) Family.” This is an embossed “Tuck’s Post Card.” It is one of the Raphael Tuck and Sons’ “Floral Easter Greetings” series of post cards. (Art Publishers to Their Majesties The King and Queen.) The postcard was printed in Bavaria.
