We use to go to Crystal Lake when I was young. I hate that it is gone now.
Crystal Lake was an amazing place. The Davis family will always be remembered, and loved, as people who gave those precious memories to so many people. The huge dance floor was something to see and experience. Then all the fishing lakes around the property that I thoroughly enjoyed. The boats in the lakes. The amazing high dives. It was just a place like no other.
I remember taking a dollar and it paid for swimming all day and also buy me nabs and a soda (Pepsi)!
My mother took me there when I was eight years old, with my brother and three sisters. I remember it being so beautiful. I had a dream about this place a few months back, thanks for posting the pictures.
I spent some good times there, chasing girls and being chased, lol the cars and cool bikes parked up front, the stewart sandwich machine and grumpy Mr.Davis, lol and the music on the jukebox up in the top! hello oldtown I miss you bad! ROBIN ROBERTS.
