Oscar F. Hege was a native of Winston-Salem. He and his brother, Ernest G. Hege, operated O. F. Hege Company on Main Street, specializing in sporting goods, bicycles, guns, flash lights, and musical instruments. They also were experts in the repair of these goods.
Oscar and Ernest formerly operated Hege Brothers in Old Salem.
Oscar Hege was born in 1880 to Zacharias and Sallie Lash Hege. He was a young man when he became ill and died in 1918, leaving a wife and two young sons.
