William Henry Miller was born in 1830, and when he died in 1911, at the age of 84, he was one of the oldest citizens of Salem.
Miller was a carpenter, and was considered an expert of his trade, and was in great demand while he worked. He must have passed on his woodworking talent to his children, particularly William Francis Miller. William Francis worked for Fogle Brothers for about 60 years.
William Henry was married to Jane Strupe Miller, and they had four children. William Henry was a Civil War veteran.
