This company was formed from the merger of three companies: Forsyth Dining Room Furniture Company, Forsyth Chair Company, and Forsyth Manufacturing Company.
Charles Siewers is the president of the company.

I have a set of rocking chairs with partial tag (Forsyth chair company.) I’m trying to date these chairs. Seem to have horse hair in seats. Do you know who or where I could go to research these?
Jonathan, Apparently Forsyth Chair Company was around before 1922, when it merged with two other companies. If you want to see how far it goes back, you can check the Winston-Salem City Directories to see when it appears in the directories. They can be found online. However, that only tells you when the company started. You need to speak with a furniture historian who will know about styles of furniture, and possibly other features, such as materials used on the chairs.
