Wayback Wednesday: Sportsman’s Trading Company

Sportsman’s Trading Company was the retail store located on the corner of N. Cherry and Sixth Street. It was part of Sportsman’s Supply Company, which was the wholesale distributor. Frank W. Clinard was the president of the company. The photo above was taken in October 1964.

The store featured a Ski Shop in the Sportsman’s Trading Company, with skiing equipment, as advertised in the photo above.

The buildings on the corner of N. Cherry and Sixth Street were demolished. A parking lot is at this location today.
