This Easter postcard was mailed in Sparta to a woman in Winston-Salem. It was postmarked April 13, 1908. Easter was on April 19th in the year 1908.
This postcard was printed in Germany.
The writer of the postcard mentions the lovely weather that the receiver must be enjoying in Winston-Salem. He makes the comment that just a little later she [the receiver] will be longing for the good mountain breezes. He also says that he trusts that she is coming up this summer and bringing lots of people. “The more the merrier,” he wrote. It sounds like they are making plans for a summer get-together in Sparta.
