Forsyth Country Club has undergone many changes since the clubhouse was constructed on Country Club Road in 1915.
The original design was a rustic look, and the layout featured a dining room, living room, ladies’ parlor and dressing room, sleeping apartments, kitchen, and baths.
An up-to-date water plant furnished water from two deep wells.
The clubhouse underwent a major renovation in 1941. An open house for the members was held on this day in 1941, to celebrate the renovation.
The photo above shows the clubhouse in 1938, before the 1941 renovation.
