Reyshawn Antonio Terry was born in Winston-Salem on this day in 1984. He graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School in 2003, and from UNC in 2007.
At Reynolds High School and at UNC, Reyshawn played on the basketball teams. At UNC, he was on the team that won the 2005 NCAA championship.
In 2007, Reyshawn was drafted in the second round, 44th overall, by the Orlando Magic. He was traded on draft day by the Magic to the Dallas Mavericks for the right to the 60th overall pick and cash.
Since August 2007, he has played basketball in Greece, Italy, and France, in addition to playing with a variety of teams in the NBA Summer League.
